Title: Hell Ain’t A Bad Place To Be
Location: Regal Theatre | Subiaco
Description: Hell Ain’t A Bad Place To Be – The Story of Bon Scott
Hell Ain’t a Bad Place to Be follows Bon’s life from Scotland to Australia, through his hell-raising teenage years and the bands that came before AC/DC – the Spektors, the Valentines and Fraternity. From hippie epiphanies to bubblegum pop to the iconic early years of AC/DC, Hell Ain’t a Bad Place to Be celebrates the music, the heartbreak and the life of Bon Scott – a quintessential rock and roll story that ended far too soon.
Sung by Nick Barker, narrated by Doug Parkinson and from the Helpmann award winning producers who brought you The Man in Black – the Johnny Cash Story comes this narrative-driven concert about the life of one of the greatest rock legends the world has ever seen.
Directed by Brian Nankervis (Rockwiz), Nick and Doug are joined on stage by an electrifying band made up of respected members of Australia’s biggest rock groups including The Casanovas and Electric Mary.
